Erickson and Meeks Engineering, LLC – About Us
Partnerships, quality and community are the building blocks for the Erickson and Meeks Engineering, L.L.C. (EME) team. Serving the metro Phoenix area as a civil engineering consulting firm since 2000, EME specializes in commercial, industrial, retail, residential, flood control, and golf course projects. A winning combination of a “team approach,” up-to-date design programs and hands-on work gained EME annual recognition as Southwest Contractor Magazine’s Top 125 Design Firms, and one of the Top 10 Engineering Firms in Arizona Business Magazine’s annual publication Ranking Arizona, each of the past seven years.
Team Approach
Committed to the philosophy of partnerships, EME employs hands-on service and project coordination skills to interface with owners, agencies, architects and contractors involved in every project. By building long-term relationships with its clients – many of which are repeat business partners – EME lays a smooth foundation for design coordination and construction administration services enabling the company to quickly and easily address issues that arise in every project phase. With nearly 50 years of combine work experience of founders Jeff Erickson and Tom Meeks, EME brings a broad range of expertise to the field, with a strong background in site design and water resources. Specific expertise coupled with the utilization of the most up-to-date versions of AutoCAD and Autodesk civil design software, allows EME to improve plan design and production for every incoming project.
Commitment to Community
Outside the office, EME professionals partner with the community by volunteering personal time as well as sponsoring fundraisers for local charities. Heavily involved in the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix, EME sponsors many of the charity fundraisers each year as well as serving on the BGCMP volunteer leadership board of directors. Other sponsored events include: a golf foursome at the annual Arizona Diamondbacks Charity Golf event, a skybox on the 16th Tee at the FBR Open, and the PGA event held at Scottsdale Tournament Players Club, with proceeds going to Thunderbirds Charities. Closely involved with the charity division of the Major League Baseball Arizona Diamondbacks, the professionals of EME have worked free-of-charge on nearly two dozen fields for the Youth Field Building Program to provide youth with quality playing fields. Other charities include: Brokers for Kids, United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona, the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, The United Way, and Life Teen. The EME team believes in “giving back to the community where we live, work, and play.”
The Future
What’s in the future of EME?
